I’ve always moved a little slower, listened a little deeper, and dreamed a little bigger. As a kid, I longed for a place where I could be fully myself — barefoot in the garden, hands messy with mud, watching bees, asking big questions. I thought differently, felt everything, and craved connection - but struggled to find it.
That longing followed me into motherhood. After giving birth, I found myself deeply alone. I needed community. I needed rhythm. I needed a village. What I really needed was to create the space I'd always searched for — for my younger self, and for the new mother trying to do it all. So I started building it.
My background is in social work, but I've always been more of a bridge-builder. After college, I sold everything and set off to explore the world solo. That journey led me to my husband and our two wild-hearted kids, who challenge and inspire me every day. These days, you'll find me foraging, dyeing with plants, making flower essences, baking, building, and dreaming up what's next.
And what's next is Aspen & Elder.
To me, mother isn't only a role or a title. It's a spirit. In its purest form its the embodiment of nurturing — the one who tends, who listens, who makes room. Aspen & Elder is a fellowship of that spirit.
It's being built for mothers, for women, and for anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community who craves holistic healing and belonging. Come as you are. Perfection is actively discouraged.
This is a place to do the work that's hard — the nervous system work, the unlearning, the slow cultivation of an internal connection to your own soul. A return to the village. A weaving of nature, wellness, ritual, creativity, and rooted community — the kind that doesn't ask you to perform or shrink to belong.
This is the world I want to live in. So I'm building it. As a love letter to what humanity can be.
