Aspen & Elder
A come-as-you-are gathering place in Sacramento for workshops and classes. Rooted together.
The Vision
Help me raise $15k to open the doors!
Aspen trees don't grow alone. What looks like a forest of separate trunks is actually one living thing, holding everyone up through a single root system underground. That's Aspen & Elder: a Sacramento gathering place where the village is rooted together. It's a warm, come-as-you-are space for workshops, classes, and connection—soundbaths and movement classes, hands-on craft nights with local makers, talks, skill-shares, circles, and a little nook of goods from the people who make this community what it is. It isn't built for one kind of person. It's a village—for parents and the child-free, for elders and young folks, for queer folks and quiet folks and everyone in between. Wherever you are in your becoming, there's a chair here for you.
To bring Aspen & Elder to life, your support will help cover rent, deposit, and a cushion for the first month, set up the studio with chairs, worktables, yoga mats, craft supplies, create a makers' nook with shelving and cozy touches, and cover licenses, insurance, and launch costs. Every contribution helps build a space for the community to gather, learn, and grow together.

You may have seen multiple doctors and know that the root cause isn’t being addressed. You’re ready for your story to be taken seriously and for someone to listen carefully with kindness and compassion. And most importantly, you’d like a roadmap to return to health so that your life can expand again.

Winds of ChangeRiva Jean-Paul
In today’s fast-paced, high-pressure professional environments, it’s more important than ever to create cultures of safety, connection, and resilience. Whether you're in education, mental health, community support, or organizational leadership, trauma-informed training isn't a luxury—it's essential.
Each offering is rooted in somatic awareness, trauma-informed principles, and a feminine approach to leadership that honors nervous system care, boundary-setting, and collaborative culture building.

Nurtured Embodiment
CassieHeyo! I’m Cassie, the heart and hands behind Foster Goodness Esthetics, located in the sweet little sanctuary in Midtown, right in the heart of Sacramento.
I share life with my incredibly supportive partner—who has lovingly attended every funeral and rebirth of my becoming—and two weird-ass wiener dogs who keep things delightfully chaotic.
Before becoming an esthetician, I spent over a decade working in community resourcing, mental health, and family advocacy throughout Sacramento and LA. That time deeply shaped my approach to care, rooting everything I do in trauma-informed practice, deep listening, and radical softness.
Always learning. Always evolving. Always here, in love and reverence.
